Do you want to apply for a school place?
Call our office and speak to Mrs Riley for information. All school places are allocated by Northamptonshire County Council but we can tell you if we have spaces in any Year group or help you to apply. We are able to accept a maximum of 60 pupils in each year group. In the case that we are oversubscribed, we use our over subscription criteria to decide which children will be offered places. Places are allocated in the following order, firstly to those children whom are looked after and in care, then those who have siblings already at the school, and finally those living in our catchment area.
Children attend Reception Class in the September after their fourth birthday.
Applications to the local authority must usually be made by the January of that year and so many families choose to visit our school between September and Christmas of the year before admission. Our Early Years leader offers monthly tours of our provision.
Once September comes, we have a carefully planned approach to the induction of new children including home visits, open days and evenings, transition sessions for pupils and a staged entry in September. Our younger pupils soon feel safe, settled and ready to play and learn.
