School governors are volunteers who help to run the school. They’re involved in decisions about strategic aspects of managing the school – such as helping set budgets, supporting staff and monitoring standards.
Governors also help to make big decisions about the school’s long-term goals. They support the Headteacher, but also ask questions and make sure the Headteacher is taking the school in the right direction.
Our Governing Body is organised into two committees: Learning and Resources. Our Full Governing Body meets at least three times a year and our two committees meet each term – six times a year.
